Grades 5-8 | The Toy Museum of NY presents The History & Science of Toy Invention - Feb 11, 2019 12:10pm EST
About this event:
This is an educational, inspirational and interactive program that is also very exciting and fun. The program begins with a brief introduction about classic toys from long ago. Students will learn about events from the past and why these selected toys were invented. This introduction is an important step in the creative process and helps to establish the skills necessary to transform their ideas into something more. Next, basic principles for inventing a toy are discussed then tested out as we collaborate as a group to invent a pretend toy. Presented by Marlene Hochman, President and Founder of The Toy Museum of NY. She has over 17 years of expertise in the field of invention as the creator of The Toy Museum of NY.
