Visit MFA’s gallery of Native North American Art for a story and artworks of the Navajo (Dine) people. An MFA educator will read aloud The Goat in the Rug by Charles L. Blood and Martin Link, illustrated by Nancy Winslow Parker, the story of a real Navajo weaver and her goat as they prepare toweave a rug. After the story, students will explore examples of Navajo weaving in the MFA collection.
