About this event:
Mt. Washington is famous for its extreme weather, but few get to experience its fury directly. Join Observatory staff for a program which examines the forces behind winter weather events such as blizzards, nor’easters, lake-effect snow, freezing rain and extreme cold. We’ll apply simple concepts and personal experience to understand the storms that produce New England’s extreme winter weather events.
