Grades 2-6 | The Toy Museum of NY presents The History & Science of Toy Invention - Dec 16, 2020 12:10pm EST
About this event:
This program begins with a brief introduction about classic toys from long ago. Students will learn about events from the past and why these selected toys were invented. This introduction is an important step in the creative process and helps to establish the skills necessary to transform ideas into something more. The basic principles for inventing a toy are discussed then tested out as we collaborate to invent a pretend toy.
Presented by Marlene Hochman, President and Founder of The Toy Museum of NY. She has over 17 years of expertise in the field of invention as the creator of The Toy Museum of NY.
