Grades 3-8 | Mount Washington Observatory presents Winter Weather - Jan 5, 2021 11:10am EST
About this event:
Mt. Washington is famous for its extreme weather, but few get to experience its fury. Join Observatory staff for a program which examines the forces behind winter weather events – such as blizzards, nor’easters, lake-effect snow, freezing rain, and extreme cold. We’ll apply simple concepts and personal experience to understand the storms that produce New England’s extreme winter weather events.
