Grades 4-9 | The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology presents Fossil Planet: Extinction - May 30, 2023 4:30pm Eastern Time
About this event:
Fossil Planet is a special program offered by the Royal Tyrrell Distance Learning studio that takes our audience around the world to explore the history of life on earth. Species come and species go. It is part of the cycle of life on our planet. Why do some species go extinct while others remain for seemingly long periods? In this program, we will meet icons of extinction, like the mammoth, the dodo, and the Tasmanian tiger. Then, we will explore what the implications of their disappearance meant for the ecosystem.
Program duration is 30 to 40 minutes.
Life Science, Animals, Earth & Space Science, Rocks and Fossils
