This class interactively analyzes why an invasion at Normandy was needed, the key aspects of planning the largest amphibious invasion, the invasion itself, and the aftermath of D-Day through oral histories from D-Day veterans, artifacts, and videos.
In order to understand the importance of D-Day, you have to begin with World War I and examine the events that led up to World War II. This class interactively analyzes the first half of WWII through oral histories from D-Day veterans, artifacts, and videos.
