Tori James is a registered dietitian / nutritionist with a private practice in Charleston, South Carolina. Her areas of expertise include general nutrition and disease prevention, weight loss and weight management, food allergies and sensitivities, celiac disease, IBS, diabetes, prediabetes and cardiovascular nutrition. A graduate of Florida State University, Tori received her Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology and a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition. After attaining her degrees, she relocated to Charleston where she worked at Roper Hospital for almost four years as their outpatient dietitian, aiding patients in the departments of Cardiac Rehab, Endocrinology, Weight Loss, Food Sensitivity and Celiac Disease. Currently a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Tori has also served as the co-writer of the diet section in House Calls Magazine, and has appeared twice on the television program, HealthBeat, as a nutrition specialist.
